This concept behind this work is that everyday a section of the 16mm film is hand-painted with Chinese ink and then stamped with a date/month/year rubber stamp. This film was created from 4-15 April 2009 in Bergen, Norway. This film is in its raw form without any digital enhancement. What happens when time is compressed? In this film, two weeks of time spent on painting is collapsed into a mere three minutes. In so doing, this work dilate real time, and thus make disjointed one's sense of action in time.
